Carers ACT invites you to join us on a relaxed half-day outing to Murrumbateman on Friday, 1st of May 2026. Enjoy Van travel from the Spence Respite Center - 193 Copland Dr Spence, a guided hand-feeding tour at Black Wattle Alpaca Farm, a seated wine tasting at Murrumbateman Winery. This social and enjoyable afternoon is a wonderful opportunity to unwind and connect with others. This event will cost $10.00. This event will be waitlisted.

Please note that to attend any CHSP-funded events, all participants should be 65 years of age or over (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible from 50 years or over) and hold a valid Social Support and Community Engagement Code and My Aged Care Number. If you do not currently have this code, please contact My Aged Care Australia on 1800 200 422 to arrange an assessment and obtain the required approval. 

To help ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, participants must be able to independently enter and exit a minivan, including stepping up and moving through the seating area. Please also be aware that outings may involve some walking, occasionally on uneven surfaces.
