Carers ACT invites you to join us on a relaxed half-day outing to Murrumbateman on Friday, 23 January 2026. Enjoy coach travel from the Hellenic Club (Woden) or Holt Carers ACT Offices, a guided hand-feeding tour at Black Wattle Alpaca Farm, a seated wine tasting at Murrumbateman Winery, and time to visit the local chocolate shop and explore the village. This social and enjoyable afternoon is a wonderful opportunity to unwind and connect with others. This event will cost $10.00
Please note that to attend any CHSP-funded events, all participants must be 65 years of age or over (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are eligible from 55 years and over) and hold a valid Social Support and Community Engagement Code and My Aged Care Number. If you do not currently have this code, please contact My Aged Care Australia on 1800 200 422 to arrange an assessment and obtain the required approval.
To help ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, participants must be able to independently enter and exit a minivan, including stepping up and moving through the seating area. Please also be aware that outings may involve some walking, occasionally on uneven surfaces.
